SUBSTANCE
GHRH Peptide
Introducing CJC-1295, a powerful synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) composed of 30 amino acids. This remarkable peptide is designed to significantly enhance growth hormone release and elevate IGF-1 levels while maintaining the natural pulsatile rhythm of growth hormone secretion.
CJC-1295 is often paired with Ipamorelin for optimal results due to its higher specificity as a GHRH. While both peptides promote growth hormone release, Ipamorelin stands out by avoiding the appetite stimulation and increases in cortisol, acetylcholine, prolactin, and aldosterone commonly associated with other peptides. Together, they create a well-tolerated and effective combination.
Target Gland: Pituitary
- Boosted secretion of growth hormone and IGF-1 without increasing prolactin levels
- Enhanced body weight and length through improved protein synthesis
- Accelerated muscle development
- Increased bone density
- Strengthened immune function
- Enhanced cognitive abilities and memory
- Boosted collagen production for healthier skin
- Facilitated fat loss
- Improved cellular repair and regeneration
CJC-1295 is also known for promoting deep, restorative slow-wave sleep, which is crucial for optimal muscle growth, memory retention, and overall rejuvenation.
GHRH is naturally produced in the hypothalamus and its pulsatile release triggers growth hormone release from the pituitary gland. However, GHRH has a very short half-life of just a few minutes, limiting its effectiveness in the bloodstream.
Types of CJC-1295:The first 29 amino acids of GHRH make up its active component, available as the synthetic peptide Sermorelin. CJC-1295 was developed by extending its half-life to approximately 30 minutes. Further enhancement with Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) allows it to bind with the blood protein albumin, extending its half-life to around 8 days, resulting in CJC-1295 + DAC. Alternatively, CJC-1295 can be prepared in a non-DAC form to mimic a natural growth hormone surge each night.
Thanks to the DAC modification, injections are typically required only once or twice a week. However, the sustained presence of CJC-1295 in the bloodstream may lead to continuous stimulation of growth hormone release from the pituitary, potentially reducing the natural amplitude of growth hormone pulses and its overall tissue stimulation.
To ensure optimal results, it is recommended to take "hormone holidays" of three months every three to six months when using long-acting CJC molecules. During these breaks, switching to Sermorelin instead of CJC-1295 + DAC is advised.
Safety:These breaks are also beneficial in minimizing the risk of developing resistance to growth hormone. Theoretical concerns include the formation of antibodies that could neutralize growth hormone or a decrease in the number of growth hormone receptors in tissues. However, extensive long-term studies are yet to confirm these theories.
Potential side effects of CJC-1295 may include localized reactions at the injection site (such as irritation, redness, swelling, pain, or itching), headaches, diarrhea, flushing, nausea, and abdominal discomfort.
