SUBSTANCE GHRH Peptide

CJC-1295 is a cutting-edge synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), comprising 30 amino acids. This innovative peptide has been scientifically proven to significantly enhance the secretion of growth hormone and IGF-1, all while maintaining the natural pulsatile release of growth hormone.

For optimal results, CJC-1295 is often combined with Ipamorelin, thanks to its targeted action as a GHRH. While Ipamorelin also stimulates growth hormone release, it uniquely avoids the appetite stimulation and elevation of cortisol, acetylcholine, prolactin, and aldosterone that can accompany other peptides in its category. Ipamorelin is well-tolerated, making it an effective partner for CJC-1295.

Pituitary Gland Stimulation:

  • Boosted secretion of growth hormone and IGF-1 levels without increasing prolactin
  • Enhanced body weight and growth through improved protein synthesis
  • Accelerated muscle growth
  • Improved bone density
  • Strengthened immune function
  • Enhanced cognitive abilities and memory retention
  • Increased collagen production
  • Facilitated fat loss
  • Enhanced cellular repair and regeneration

Key Benefits of CJC-1295:

Moreover, CJC-1295 is renowned for fostering deep, restorative sleep, essential for muscle growth, memory retention, and overall rejuvenation.

GHRH, produced in the hypothalamus, triggers the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland. However, its short half-life of just a few minutes limits its effectiveness.

Types of CJC-1295:

The first 29 amino acids of GHRH comprise its active segment, commercially known as Sermorelin. To extend its half-life to 30 minutes, Sermorelin was modified to create CJC-1295. This formulation was further enhanced by the addition of DAC (Drug Affinity Complex), which binds to blood protein albumin, extending its half-life to approximately 8 days and resulting in CJC-1295 + DAC. There is also a non-DAC version available, designed to simulate a natural growth hormone spike each night.

Thanks to DAC, injections may only be needed once or twice a week. However, this prolonged presence in the bloodstream can lead to a continuous stimulation of growth hormone release from the pituitary, which may not be physiological and could potentially reduce the amplitude of growth hormone pulses, diminishing tissue stimulation.

When using a long-acting CJC molecule, it's prudent to incorporate "hormone holidays" lasting three months every three to six months to allow the pituitary gland to recover. During these breaks, Sermorelin is the preferred option over CJC-1295 + DAC.

Safety Considerations:

These "hormone holidays" may also help mitigate the risk of developing growth hormone resistance, which could theoretically arise from the formation of antibodies that deactivate growth hormone or a decrease in the number of growth hormone receptors on tissues. However, these are theoretical concerns, as no long-term studies have been conducted on this issue.

Common Side Effects of CJC-1295:

Possible reactions at the injection site may include irritation, redness, swelling, pain, or itching. Other side effects may consist of headaches, diarrhea, vasodilation (which can lead to flushing, warmth, or transient hypotension), nausea, and abdominal discomfort.
