GHRH Peptide
Note: Products are shipped unlabeled for enhanced security.
Introducing CJC-1295, a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) composed of 30 amino acids. This powerful peptide has demonstrated remarkable efficacy in boosting growth hormone and IGF-1 secretion while maintaining the natural pulsatility of GH release.
CJC-1295 is often paired with Ipamorelin due to its precise action as a GHRH. This unique combination not only elevates growth hormone levels but does so without triggering appetite or increasing cortisol, acetylcholine, prolactin, or aldosterone levels, making it a well-tolerated option that synergizes perfectly with Ipamorelin.
Target Gland: Pituitary
Benefits of CJC-1295:
- Stimulates growth hormone and IGF-1 release without raising prolactin levels
- Improves body composition by enhancing protein synthesis
- Facilitates increased muscle growth
- Supports better bone density
- Strengthens immune function
- Boosts cognitive abilities and memory retention
- Increases collagen production for healthier skin and joints
- Promotes fat loss
- Aids in cellular repair and regeneration
CJC-1295 also fosters deep, restorative slow-wave sleep, essential for muscle growth, memory consolidation, and overall well-being.
Two Forms of CJC-1295:
GHRH is produced in the hypothalamus, triggering the pituitary gland to release GH in a pulsatile manner. However, GHRH has a very short half-life of just a few minutes. The first 29 amino acids of GHRH comprise its active segment, available as Sermorelin, which has been modified to extend its half-life to 30 minutes, leading to the creation of CJC-1295. Additionally, a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) has been incorporated, binding to the blood protein albumin and extending the half-life to an impressive eight days, resulting in CJC-1295 + DAC. CJC-1295 can also be formulated without DAC for a more natural nightly GH spike.
This extended half-life allows for injections only once or twice a week, while the stable blood levels provide a continuous stimulus for pituitary GH release through the GHRH receptor. However, this extended stimulation may reduce the amplitude of GH pulses, potentially diminishing GH stimulation in tissues.
Safety Considerations:
When utilizing a long-acting CJC molecule, it is recommended to take 'hormone holidays' every three to six months for three months to allow the pituitary gland to recover. During these breaks, Sermorelin is suggested as an alternative to CJC-1295 + DAC. These 'hormone holidays' might also help mitigate the risk of developing GH resistance, a theoretical concern that could arise due to antibodies forming that deactivate GH or a reduction in GH receptor availability in tissues.
Please be aware that potential side effects of CJC-1295 may include injection site reactions (irritation, redness, swelling, pain, or itching), headaches, diarrhea, vasodilation (flushing, warmth, temporary low blood pressure), nausea, and abdominal discomfort.
